The Office of Academic Services offers ongoing academic advisement for all JD students. 

Fall 2026 Academic Advising Appointments

Academic advising appointments are now available for academic planning for rising 2Ls and 3Ls.

Looking to stay on track with your course selections, registration, and degree requirements? We are here to help with all your academic-related inquiries. Please email us at law.acadservices@nyu.edu to schedule your appointment and specify whether you would like to meet in person or remotely. You can also submit a Law Registrar Service Desk ticket with your questions. Here are the advising hours available:

Fall 2026 Advising Hours

  • September 11: 2:00–4:00 p.m.
  • September 16: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
  • September 22–October 7: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00–5:00 p.m.
  • October 9–15: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
