Academic Accommodations & Accessibility Support
Important Dates
The NYU Moses Center for Accessibility and Inclusive Culture student portal is available to submit requests for disability accommodations. Students enrolled in Fall 2025 courses now have the opportunity to self-generate accommodation letters.
If you have any questions about the process for requesting, receiving, or implementing disability accommodations, please schedule an accessibility support appointment with a member of our staff by visiting this link. You may also visit us in Furman Hall 400 during business hours, call 212-998-6020, or submit a Service Desk ticket.
Introduction to Accommodations
The Office of Academic Services works closely with the Moses Center, the Office of Residential Life, the Office of Facilities Services, and the Office of Student Affairs to fulfill classroom, exam, and housing accommodation requests for our students.
General services provided include testing accommodations, adaptive computer equipment, sign language interpreters, and readers, to name a few. Any student who needs an accommodation must start the process by submitting appropriate documentation to the Moses Center. The steps can be found on the Requesting Academic Accommodations page.
