Academic Accommodations & Accessibility Support

Important Dates

The NYU Moses Center for Accessibility and Inclusive Culture student portal is available to submit requests for disability accommodations. Students enrolled in Fall 2025 courses now have the opportunity to self-generate accommodation letters.

If you have any questions about the process for requesting, receiving, or implementing disability accommodations, please schedule an accessibility support appointment with a member of our staff by visiting this link. You may also visit us in Furman Hall 400 during business hours, call 212-998-6020, or submit a Service Desk ticket.

Introduction to Accommodations

The Office of Academic Services collaborates closely with the Moses Center for Accessibility and Inclusive Culture ("Moses Center"), the Office of Residential Life, the Office of Facilities Services, and the Office of Student Affairs to fulfill requests for classroom, exam, and housing accommodations for our students.

All students are required to work with the Moses Center when seeking appropriate and reasonable accommodations to support equal educational opportunity. Students seeking classroom or testing accommodations first must submit an application to the Moses Center. The steps can be found on the Requesting Academic Accommodations page.
