The Office of Academic Services offers ongoing academic advisement for all JD students. Please sign up for a 15-minute academic advising appointment below.

Spring 2024 JD Academic Advising Hours

Through April 1, advising hours during Spring 2024 will take place on Mondays from 10am - 1pm and Tuesdays from 11:30am - 2:30pm. If these hours do not work for you due to class conflict, please send us an email to and we'll find a more convenient time to meet. In addition, if you'd prefer to meet with us in person instead of Zoom, please note that we're located in Furman Hall, Suite 400.

We invite you to an intimate lunch discussion featuring NYU Law alum litigation practitioners, Jonathan Barbee from MoloLamken and Meredith Nelson from Selendy Gay Elsberg, and moderated by Prof. Helen Hershkoff, the Herbert M. and Svetlana Wachtell Professor of Constitutional Law and Civil Liberties and Co-Director of the Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Program. These attorneys will discuss their firm's primary practice areas, highlight law school courses that were helpful in their career journey, and discuss how their academic choices impacted their personal trajectories.
