Admission and Registration
The certificate program is open to admitted JD and LLM students at the NYU School of Law. These students need only submit the enrollment forms to register.
Practicing lawyers may participate in the summer portion of the certificate only. Additional documentation and an admission review is required for practicing lawyers as not every applicant meets the admission standards. Please contact Anat Carmy-Wiechman for additional direction at email@example.com.
We reserve the right to close admission to the program should we reach a capacity constraint. Thus, we encourage interested students to indicate their interest in the program as soon as possible. Upon enrollment, we require a deposit of US $250. Registration forms and deposits must be received to hold your place in the class. The deposit will count towards your tuition.
Tuition and Fees
Program tuition covers the nine credits taken during the summer semester. Tuition and registration fees for these credits will be charged at the regular rate for graduate business school credits.
Additional fees such as health insurance and NYU Office of Global Services fees may apply. The Tuition and Fees Worksheet helps break down these costs, as well as gives information on how to wave or reduce health insurance fees.
A financial aid application will be available in mid-March through the Stern Business School’s Financial Aid website, www.stern.nyu.edu/finaid.
In addition, enrolled APCLB students are eligible to apply for a partial scholarship made possible by a very generous gift from Stern School of Business alumnus, John Vogelstein.
Students interested in applying for summer financial aid should contact the Stern School of Business Financial Aid Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (212) 998-0790. To read more about the types of financial aid available to both domestic and international students, please visit the Types of Financial Aid page in the Stern Financial Aid website. International students are eligible to apply for private loans through the Financial Aid website as well.
Housing for the summer session will be available in the Law School residence halls at standard rates. Since APCLB students often enroll after the summer housing deadline, a number of rooms have been set aside for them. These are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Students interested in NYU housing for the summer can apply for housing at http://www.law.nyu.edu/housing/summerhousing/summerlivinginnyslny/.
If a room is not available in NYU Law housing, we will explore housing options with NYU undergrad housing.
