Elizabeth Vrato: “The Value of Mentorship”

Elizabeth Vrato ’90 is the author of The Counselors: Conversations with 18 Courageous Women Who Have Changed the World (with a foreword by President Bill Clinton), which provides mentoring advice from some of this country's most trailblazing women leaders, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Janet Reno. A Harry S. Truman Scholar, Vrato has practiced law in both the public and private sectors. Vrato graduated magna cum laude from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, where she was given the Political Science Department Award upon graduation, and received her JD from NYU School of Law.
