Important note: Always follow the course description and exam cover sheet. Instructor rules control permitted materials, internet access, programs, devices, and other resources. Exam4 may show what is technically accessible, but your exam rules may be more restrictive. 

All exam types require a practice exam/pretest verification to confirm compatibility with Exam4 hardware and operating system.

All modes are options: Closed Computer (Exam4 only; no Internet or hard-drive access); Open Computer + Closed Network (files/programs available, no Internet); or Open Computer + Open Network (Internet plus files/programs).Open Computer + Open Network only. Permitted materials may still be restricted by the instructor. EMS is enabled for all Flexible Location exams.Open Computer + Open Network. Exam4 permits internet and hard-drive access.
