Biography: Stav Zeitouni holds an LLM in Legal Theory from NYU and a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) in law and psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During her studies, Stav served as a student editor on the board of the Israel Law Review and worked as a research and teaching assistant in several fields, including privacy law, private international law, empirical legal studies and comparative tort law. Before coming to NYU, she clerked for Israel’s Attorney General, handling mainly constitutional, administrative and public international law matters.
Research:
Stav’s current research interests include information privacy law, international copyright law and law and psychology. She plans to focus her doctoral work on the intersection between privacy and property, in order to critically analyze the propertization of personal data.
