Main Library Entrance

The main entrance to the Law Library is through Vanderbilt Hall.

Judge Abraham Lieberman Reading Room

Located in Vanderbilt Hall, the Main Reading Room features ample natural light and a mix of large and small tables for quiet study, as well as a printing station (B&W only).

- Several standing desks (south side, back)
- Overhead Scanner (south side)
- Traditional printer/scanner (north side, room 108G)

Main Reading Room North

This area offers soft seating and plenty of natural light.

- Best for more relaxed study and taking a quiet break
- Comfortable soft seating

Reference & Circulation Desks

Both the Circulation Desk and Reference Desk are located in the Main Reading Room.

At the Circulation Desk (located at VH entrance), patrons can borrow and return items, pay fines, retrieve course reserve materials, and access other services.

At the Reference desk (adjacent to Circulation Desk), librarians provide expert in-person research assistance. Research assistance also available online (chat, email, or Zoom).

Group Study Room

Located in the southwest corner of the Main Reading Room, the Group Study Room accommodates 3 to 8 people and is available by reservation.

First Basement

B1

Located one floor below the Main Reading Room, the Library’s B1 level contains general print collections (call numbers AC-Z).

Sullivan Street Study Room

Located off the south side of the Balcony, the SSSR is a low-volume collaborative space with small tables that can be configured to student needs.

Stress busters (puzzles, craft supplies, and quiet games)

Best for collaborative work - small groups in lower voices
