PCCE and the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Network (BWLN), together with the Beyond #MeToo Working Group on Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Risk, co-hosted a panel discussion titled Beyond Diversifying Your Board.  As new rules and regulations governing board diversity grow commonplace, this event explored the next step: how to ensure all board members can exercise their power to effect change and enhance diversity efforts throughout their organizations. The expert panel, moderated by PCCE Executive Director Alicyn Cooley, discussed practical strategies new corporate board members can use to assert themselves and influence the rest of their boards, as well as ways boards can empower their members to effectuate change.
