Bill of Rights Classes for Transfer Students
Students who transferred with three (3) or fewer credits of Constitutional Law must complete a Bill of Rights class in order to satisfy the NYU School of Law Constitutional Law Requirement. Below find the list of Bill of Rights classes. (Please review the course descriptions for any restrictions on the same and COURSES to determine whether the class is open.)
IMPORTANT: Classes which satisfy a graduation requirement must be taken for a grade. Therefore, Bill of Rights classes cannot be taken on a credit/fail basis if you are taking it to satisfy the Constitutional Law requirement. In addition, students cannot use a course to satisfy both the Bill of Rights and Experiential Learning requirement. As per ABA Interpretation 303-1, students may not use one course to satisfy more than one requirement.
