American Association of Law Libraries
Each year, the Association awards scholarships in significant amounts in various categories to assist individuals in achieving their goal of becoming a law librarian. Individuals who qualify for more than one scholarship are encouraged to apply accordingly.

American Bar Association Section of Business Law
The Association offers various scholarships to law students. There are also numerous writing competitions.

Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communications
The Association offers various scholarships and awards to students with an interest in journalism and mass communications.

American Association for Justice
Offers various scholarships to law students with a demonstrated commitment to preserving the civil justice system.

Brandeis Association Scholarship Fund
Offers scholarships to Jewish law students who live in Queens County or attend law school in Queens County and who are either a 2L or 3L at the time of application.

Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association
In celebration of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association (BWBA) 2020-2021 theme “Paving the Way
Through Mentorship,” the BWBA is awarding two individual scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to one law student and one 2020 law school graduate who demonstrates community involvement and financial need.

Civitan International Foundation
Awards of $1,000 are given to students planning a career in higher education, special education, and vocational education, health care services, or the teaching of social studies. The purpose is to build a responsible citizenship, protect the nation's future and to maintain the free enterprise system and political heritage.

Federal Circuit Bar Association
The FCBA offers economic assistance to law students who have a potential interest in legal issues that may arise at the Federal Circuit.

Finlandia Foundation Trust
Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students in all academic disciplines currently enrolled in accredited post-secondary schools in the United States and Finland. Some of the criteria the FFN Scholarship Committee uses in evaluating applications are: financial need, course of study, and US/Finnish citizenship.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation
Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation Scholarships/Grants offers scholarships to members of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Labor Union Scholarships
Students whose parents are members of unions should investigate the possibility of obtaining financial assistance through a local or regional union scholarship program. Local union officials will be able to provide further details.

Scholarships Sponsored By King & Spalding, Latham & Watkins, and Vinson & Elkins
Private law firms provide scholarships for academic enrichment opportunities to entering NYU 1L law students. The firms also offer recipients networking opportunities and mentorship from their attorneys.

Mortar Board, Inc.
This college honor society offers several fellowship and scholarship opportunities.

Roothbert Fund, Inc.
The organization gives awards to students who are primarily motivated by spiritual values and who show a need for financial assistance.

The New York City Bar Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships
The Foundation offers several scholarships and fellowships, including the Thurgood Marshall Fellowship Program, The C. Bainbridge Smith Scholarship, and the City Bar Diversity Fellowship Program.

The Honorable William Conner Intellectual Property Writing Competition
The New York Intellectual Property Law Association offers a writing competition for law students interested in intellectual property law.

International Affairs Fellowship Program
Launched in 1967, the International Affairs Fellowship is a program offered by the Council on Foreign Relations to assist mid-career scholars and professionals in advancing their analytic capabilities and broadening their foreign policy experience. The program aims to strengthen career development by helping outstanding individuals acquire and apply foreign policy skills beyond the scope of their professional and scholarly achievements.

One Lawyer Can Change The World $10,000 Scholarship
Lawyers are agents of change.  Submit a 500-word essay about how you plan to use your law degree to change the world and how $10,000 towards your 1L tuition would change your world.
