Our Review

When we receive your request to offer CLE credit, we will review your materials to verify that your event meets the New York State CLE Board Regulations and Guidelines.

If your materials are lacking in one or more areas, we will contact you with suggestions on how to improve your request.

 

Calculation of Credit

During our review of your request for CLE credit, we use your timed agenda to calculate the total number of minutes that meet NYS CLE requirements. Each minute of your event will be reviewed (as opposed to each session or portion of a session).

NYS CLE is calculated based on a 50-minute hour and can be issued in half credits. A session or event must be at least 25 minutes in length in order to issue CLE credit.

Notification of Approval

If your event is approved to offer CLE credit, we will notify you by email and provide you with information on how many credits you can offer and the category (or categories) of credit appropriate for your event. We will provide you with information on your responsibilities before, during, and after your event.
