Intesa Sanpaolo establishes research grant opportunity for students

A recent gift from Intesa Sanpaolo, a leading Italian and European financial institution, has established a new research grant opportunity for NYU Law students.

The grant recipients will have the opportunity to carry out research activities at the Intesa Sanpaolo offices in Italy in collaboration with the staff involved in the following fields:

  • Antitrust laws and compliance policies as triggering factors for the development of innovative and sustainable markets;
  • Impact banking as a new development platform where business meets communities’ needs and perspectives;
  • Green and circular economies as transition paradigms for mature economies.

In addition to engaging in research, grant recipients will also attend special Intesa Sanpaolo events in both Italy and at NYU School of Law.

The application process will begin in the spring semester, with the inaugural scholars selected by fall 2022.
