Three of NYU Law’s centers and institutes add new leaders

Three centers and institutes at NYU Law have announced additions to their leadership. The Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance (ICGF) has named Emiliano Catan LLM ’10, Catherine A. Rein Professor of Law, as a faculty co-director; Professor of Practice Andrew Weissmann has joined the Reiss Center on Law and Security (RCLS) as a faculty co-director' and the Guarini Center on Environmental, Energy, and Land Use Law has appointed Christine Billy as executive director.

NYU Law’s 38 centers and institutes conduct research and connect faculty and students with leaders from a wide array of disciplines. Focusing on the intersection of law and finance, ICGF has become a leading center for discussion of many of the most important issues facing the capital markets. RCLS cultivates dialogue and fosters research on the vital legal, policy, and strategic questions related to national security. The Guarini Center, through research and multi-stakeholder engagements, works to develop and advance innovative legal and policy solutions for pressing environmental challenges.
