2026–2027 Lederman Fellows

Aidan Arasasingham is from Irvine, California. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in global studies, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he received a master's degree in international political economy. Prior to law school, Aidan worked as a Research Associate with the Economics Program of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., where he worked on international economic policy matters. At NYU Law, Aidan is the Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Annual Survey of American Law, a Jacobson Scholar in Law and Business, an Intesa Sanpaolo Junior Scholar, and a Reiss Center on Law and Security Student Scholar. He spent his 1L summer as a Summer Law Clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and his 2L summer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

 

Andrew Friedman is from Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Chicago and graduated with a degree in political science and a minor in computer science. Prior to law school, Andrew worked on political campaigns and in public health. He served on U.S. Senate campaigns in Colorado and Arizona, most recently as Deputy Data Director for Senator Mark Kelly's coordinated campaign. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he built a free vaccine-availability tracker that Los Angeles County adopted as its official portal, and he later helped lead the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's efforts to reduce healthcare financial harms. At NYU Law, Andrew is an Articles Editor for the NYU Law Review, an NYU Law Cyber Scholar, the co-founder and co-president of the Innovations in Practice Association, and a research assistant for Professors Florencia Marotta-Wurgler and Helen Hershkoff. He spent his 1L summer in the Competition Unit of the Healthcare Rights and Access Section of the California Attorney General's Office and his 2L summer at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he will be returning after graduation. Andrew will subsequently clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

 

Tobit Glenhaber is from Somerville, Massachusetts. Before law school, he attended MIT, where he graduated with bachelors of science in history and mathematics. At NYU Law, he is an Associate Executive Editor for Moot Court Board's Casebook, and is a student fellow and website coordinator for the Privacy Research Group.  He spent his 1L summer at the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General in the economic and consumer justice unit, and spent his 2L summer at Scott+Scott Attorneys at Law doing work within the securities, antitrust, and consumer protection units. 

 

Josephine Wu is from Randolph, New Jersey. She graduated from Georgetown University with a double major in English and Economics, earning honors in English and receiving the Most Outstanding Thesis Award, the Annabelle Bonner Medal, and the Bernard M. Wagner Medal for excellence in writing. Before law school, Josephine interned at JPMorgan Private Bank and the U.S. Department of Commerce, and she also worked as a Project Assistant at the Edunomics Lab, where she focused on education finance research. At NYU Law, she serves as a Senior Executive Editor of the NYU Law Review and previously served as Co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). Josephine spent her 1L summer at Fox Rothschild LLP in Morristown, New Jersey and her 2L summer at Paul Hastings LLP.
