NYU Law Fund
The NYU Law Fund is the lifeblood of the Law School.
Unrestricted and ready for immediate use, NYU Law Fund gifts go where they’re most needed, amplifying the school’s priorities while meeting students where they are.
Student Scholarships and Financial Aid
The NYU Law Fund is a critical source of support for our generous scholarship program, ensuring that NYU Law remains accessible to the most talented students, regardless of financial background. From full-tuition Dean’s Awards to targeted scholarships for public interest and historically underrepresented students, these funds help reduce student debt and expand opportunity.
Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP)
NYU Law’s LRAP is among the most robust in the country, enabling graduates to pursue careers in public service and public interest law without the burden of unmanageable debt. The NYU Law Fund sustains this program and helps remove financial barriers to justice-focused careers.
Pioneering Faculty Research and Teaching
The NYU Law Fund bolsters NYU Law’s renowned faculty, supporting innovative research and curriculum development on pressing global and domestic legal issues. These resources help bring cutting-edge scholarship into the classroom and beyond.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives
A more just legal system begins with a more inclusive legal education. Gifts to the NYU Law Fund support pipeline programs, student-led affinity groups, and diversity-focused academic offerings that ensure all students can thrive and lead.
Centers and Institutes
NYU Law is home to 40+ centers and institutes working on everything from international law and constitutional studies to technology, racial justice, and criminal justice reform. The Law Fund helps sustain their work and their ability to engage students in real-world legal challenges.
Public Interest and Pro Bono Programs
From the Public Interest Law Center (PILC) to Alternative Breaks and the Pro Bono Scholars program, the Law Fund helps provide hands-on learning opportunities that connect students with communities in need, while strengthening their commitment to service.
Student Experience and Community Life
The Law Fund enhances every aspect of student life, from wellness resources and academic support services to clinics, journals, competitions, and events that foster a vibrant, inclusive community.
Every Gift. Every Size. All the Difference.
You support students and faculty who are giving their all to the legal field. Many members of our philanthropic community continue to grow their impact over time. We believe every gift is a generous gesture, so no amount is too small to make a collective difference.
