Wholeness
The goal of the Wholeness committee is to increase transparency and break the silence about the prevalence of anxiety, depression, suicide, substance abuse, and imposter syndrome in the legal profession, especially for women, in order to reduce the stigma and affect change in the workplace and school community.
The Wholeness chair works to provide a healthy community that embraces open discussion, group exercise, and shares stress-coping and mindfulness habits. The Wholeness committee organizes several health, fitness, and mindfulness related events throughout the year. Since leading a whole, balanced life will continue to be a challenging task to women as they navigate the rest of their legal careers, the committee may also work with law firms to take affirmative steps to address the problems mentioned above.
