Partnership & Diversity

In 2017, the Law Women board created the Partnership role to enhance communication between Law Women and other student groups on campus. The role was initially envisioned to serve a liaison function between student groups. More recently, and as part of a response to a clear need for Law Women to play a more active role in diversity initiatives and conversations at the law school, the title was amended to reflect these values and responsibilities.

The Partnership & Diversity Co-Chairs are outward facing and work towards strengthening existing partnerships, as well as cultivating new relationships, with other student organizations. The co-chairs help Law Women collaborate, support, and co-sponsor events that are aligned with Law Women's mission, and specifically in line with the values of diversity and inclusion. The position works with the Vice President and participates in All-ALSA meetings and discussions to achieve these goals.
