Shaviro wins Outstanding Academic Title award

Choice has named Wayne Perry Professor of Taxation Daniel Shaviro’s book Decoding the U.S. Corporate Tax a 2009 Outstanding Academic Title in economics.

Each year Choice reviews over 7,000 publications, both in print and online, and selects the best scholarly works. Decoding the U.S. Corporate Tax, which reviews the corporate tax structure and maps a new path towards reform, was selected for its excellence in presentation and scholarship, originality, and importance relative to other literature in economics.

Choice reviewer J. L. Mikesell called Shaviro's book "essential" and wrote, "This is the first place to go for anyone seeking to understand the corporate income tax maze."
