Scholarship Reception fêtes donors and students

On November 12, at the 2019 Scholarship Reception, student scholarship recipients mingled with the donors who help make their NYU Law experience possible. The Law School is committed to giving students the tools they need to succeed, including financial aid, and the annual reception celebrates both the generosity of donors and the achievements of the students they support.

In remarks, Furman Public Policy Scholar Eleuthera Sa ’21 praised the scholarship programs that help first-generation law students like herself thrive amid the challenges of law school. “That’s why scholarship programs like AnBryce and Root-Tilden-Kern and Latinx Rights are such a vital part of the NYU Law community,” Sa said. “For me, it’s the Furman Public Policy program that has made my law school experience so truly happy. We’re a small, tight-knit group with a wonderful team of advisors [and] each of them has helped me find my path in law school.”
