The State Government Initiative is excited to announce its first event of the 2026-2027 academic year, kicking off a panel series on careers in state government.
“Why America Needs you in State Government Right Now” will feature speakers from across state government, talking about their experiences, and how – from early in their careers – they have been able to use levers of government to help thousands of people.
The event will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 1:15pm – 2:15pm in Room 220 of Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South. RSVP here. The moderator will be Professor David Siffert, the Executive Director of the State Government Initiative and Democratic Nominee for New York State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District.
