The NYU Tax Law Association is hosting the first of its 2-part series on tax law and the upcoming election on Monday, October 5 at 7:00pm. In Part 1, Professor Mitchell Kane will discuss the recent New York Times expose that has been taking the media by storm, breaking down basic income tax concepts like deductions, depreciation and carryover losses. In Part 2, taking place on 10/19, Professor Kane will discuss the tax policy platforms of the candidates and their implications on the current legal landscape.
