Survivors of Solitary Confinement Panel
245 Sullivan Street NY ,10012 (view map)
NYU Law's Solitary Confinement Project will be hosting a panel with formerly incarcerated advocates who have survived solitary confinement, which is internationally recognized as torture yet still commonly used in the criminal legal system across the United States. Our panelists will share their experiences with solitary, incarceration, and as advocates on the outside. This panel is MANDATORY for Solitary Confinement Project volunteers, for both the Interview Project and the Disciplinary Hearings Project. Refreshments will be provided.
