Setting AI Policy: Left to the States

The State Government Initiative, the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy, Rights Over Tech, and the Public Interest Law Center are excited to host a panel discussion: "Setting AI Policy: Left to the States."  The panel will discuss how decisions shaping AI policy are being left to the states, and how state governments are stepping up to make these important policy decisions.

The event will be the second event in a panel series by the State Government Initiative focusing on careers in state government, and how state government jobs allow young lawyers to make a difference in people's lives. 

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 25th, from 1:15pm – 2:15pm in Room 202 of Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South.

The panel's participants and moderators will include Karuna Patel, Senior Counsel of the New York Attorney General Economic Justice Division, Odo Butler, Associate Commissioner of Policy, Strategy, & Research at the New York State Department of Labor, Jason Schultz, Faculty Co-Director of the Engelberg Center, and David Siffert, Executive Director of the State Government Initiative.
