Representatives and organizers from Grand Street Settlement and the Met Council on Housing will speak about their work and how mutual aid empowers and uplifts marginalized communities throughout New York City. Students will learn the history and strategies behind mutual aid and how to use their agency as students, lawyers, and community members to contribute to sustainable movements for change. Join us for lunch on Tuesday, October 25 at 12:30pm – vegetarian and vegan options will be served!
