  • Thursday, November 12, 2026
  • 1:10–2:10 p.m.
    1. Room 214, Furman Hall

Hear from lawyers advising on regulatory proposals, pursuing impact litigation, and shaping debate on the best approach to avoid an AI apocalypse. Expect to hear about promising legislative efforts, the (in?)sufficiency of existing liability frameworks, and what antitrust laws have to say about “self-regulation” efforts.

Panelists include Charlie Bullock (Sr. Policy Director, Institute for Law & AI), Madhavi Singh (Deputy Director, Thurman Arnold Project at Yale and Resident Fellow, Information Society Project at YLS), and Tyler Whitmer (Founder, Legal Advocates for Safe Science and Technology). Lunch provided.
