Please join the Innocence Project, the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law, and N.Y.U. Law's Review of Law & Social Change for a symposium on race and wrongful conviction, anchored by the posthumous exoneration of Tommy Lee Walker, a Black man executed in Texas in 1954. The symposium will be held on Friday, October 2, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a discussion led by exonerees, renowned scholars in the field, and members of the media. The event will be followed by a reception from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
