As artificial intelligence rapidly expands its reach in modern workplaces, today’s employers can collect and analyze unprecedented information about the people who work for them. From algorithmic hiring tools and productivity monitoring to workplace surveillance and employee wellness technologies, workers are being measured, classified, predicted, and controlled.
Join Professor Ifeoma Ajunwa, author of The Quantified Worker: Law and Technology in the Modern Workplace, for a critical conversation with Professor Kenji Yoshino, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law and Director of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging. They will discuss how AI is reshaping work, the challenges and opportunities it poses for human dignity, and how each of us can build workplaces where technology serves people rather than simply measuring them.
