Nir Zicherman is the CEO of Oboe (oboe.com), the world's first completely general AI-powered learning platform. Oboe's mission and Nir's personal mission are one and the same: to teach one billion people one trillion things. In 2015, he co-founded Anchor, which grew to become the world's largest podcasting platform. After Spotify acquired Anchor in 2019, he led Spotify's expansion into audiobooks as the Vice President of Audiobooks. Nir has had a lifelong love of writing (particularly for his newsletter at zaxis.page) and of learning. He holds a BA from Cornell University and a JD from NYU Law. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, daughter, and son.
Showcase Pitch Speakers
Featured alumni founders will share their ventures through short pitches, highlighting the diversity of innovation within the NYU Law community. To be announced soon.
The NYU Law EVC Program builds connections to resources and networks for NYU Law alumni and students who are working, involved or interested in startups and venture capital. This includes community-focused programming, summer internship opportunities, and seed-stage equity investments.
