The NYU Law Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital (EVC) Program is excited to bring the NYU Law community together once again to celebrate alumni who are building innovative ventures. This year’s Showcase will feature a keynote address from Alex Elias ’12, Founder and CEO of Qloo, alongside alumni founders sharing their entrepreneurial journeys through pitch showcases.

Alex Elias ’12, Founder and CEO of Qloo
Alex Elias is the founder and CEO of Qloo, a leading artificial intelligence platform specializing in culture and taste analysis that he started building while studying at NYU Law. Elias obtained his Juris Doctor from the NYU School of Law, with a concentration on data usage and internet privacy regulation.
Since launching in 2012, Qloo has expanded to more than 50 countries and is used by Fortune 500 companies and cultural leaders alike. The company has attracted investment from Eldridge, AXA, and prominent individuals including Barry Sternlicht, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sir Elton John. Elias also serves as chair of TasteDive, a cultural discovery platform with over 7.5 million global users. He is widely recognized for his insights on AI, data anonymization, and the intersection of technology and culture.

Featured alumni founders will share their ventures through short pitches, highlighting the diversity of innovation within the NYU Law community. Speakers will be announced soon.
The NYU Law EVC Program builds connections to resources and networks for NYU Law alumni and students who are working, involved or interested in startups and venture capital. This includes community-focused programming, summer internship opportunities, and seed-stage equity investments.
