Make Work Fair: Maintaining Progress in an Era of Retreat
- Wednesday, November 5, 2025
- 12:00–1:00 p.m.
- This is a virtual event
The assault on diversity, equity, and inclusion has made the project of achieving equal opportunity at work more complicated. Yet as behavioral economist Iris Bohnet points out in her latest book (co-authored with Siri Chilazi), Make Work Fair, ample tools remain available to design workplaces for fairness.
Join Iris Bohnet, Albert Pratt Professor of Business and Government and the co-director of the Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School, in a discussion with Kenji Yoshino, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law and Director of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Professor Bohnet will discuss actionable, evidence-based practices to remove bias and advance fairness at work, even in today’s challenging political and cultural climate.
All attendees of this event will automatically enter a raffle to receive a free copy of Make Work Fair.
This event is part of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging speaker series and is cosponsored by the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center. Visit our website for a list of our sponsors.
