LSCA Research Kick-Off

Law Students for Climate Accountability is engaging in a new research project examining Investor-State Dispute Settlement, a mechanism by which corporations sue states, with a focus on arbitration concerning climate measures. NYU Law student researchers will compile a dataset and look through cases to determine what kind of law is at their heart, contributing to a deeper analysis of the treatment of climate measures in ISDS in collaboration with ISDS and climate law scholars. This will be a lunch, training, and collaborative work session.
