Justice Albie Sachs, a lifelong anti-apartheid activist and freedom fighter, played a pivotal role in shaping South Africa’s human rights Constitution. His significant contributions were instrumental in building the new democratic South Africa, beginning with his appointment by Nelson Mandela to the South African Constitutional Court.
