IPELS Consumer Protection in Government Agencies Panel: FTC & NYC DCWP

NYU's Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Society (IPELS) is hosting a consumer protection-focused panel. We will be joined by Michael Tiger, General Counsel for the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, and Chris Miller, Attorney for the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection, based in the NYC Northeast Regional Office. Questions will focus on building a career in consumer protection, understanding consumer protection legal work in different types of government agencies, and will also touch on the intersection of consumer protection and technology, reflecting IPELS' broader focus on technology law.
