The State Government Initiative is excited to announce its first event, kicking off a panel series on careers in state government.

“Do you really want to make a difference?: Careers in State Government” will feature speakers from across state government, talking about their experiences, and how – from early in their careers – they have been able to use levers of government to help thousands of people.

The event will take place on Monday, November 10th, from 1:15pm – 2:15pm in Room 202 of Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South.  RSVP here.

The panel will feature Johnny Dach, former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Connecticut, Ben Lazarus, Special Counsel & Chief of Staff to the Counsel to the Governor of New York, and Sandra Pullman, Senior Counsel in the Civil Rights Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General.

The moderators will be Professor Noah Rosenblum and David Siffert, the Faculty Director and Executive Director of the State Government Initiative.

This will be the Initiative’s first public event, and we hope you all can join us.

Lunch will be served.
