From Shelby County to Rucho to Callais, the Supreme Court has undoubtedly weakened voting rights protections over the past 15 years. What does that mean for voters, for voting rights litigators, and for our democracy?
Join voting rights litigators from NAACP LDF, ACLU Voting Rights Project, and the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law for a panel lunch to discuss the Roberts Court's approach to voting rights jurisprudence -- including rulings this year like Louisiana v. Callais, Watson v. RNC, NRSC v. FEC, and the USPS mail-ballot rulings -- and to dive into anticipated upcoming voting rights cases before the court.
Lunch will be provided, and there will be opportunities to ask questions!
