ACS Presents: Imagining the 28th Amendment - A Constitutional Drafting Workshop

Join the NYU Law Chapter of the American Constitution Society for an interactive workshop where we'll collectively brainstorm, draft, and edit potential 28th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Change often starts in unlikely places (the 27th Amendment was revived by an undergraduate paper at UT Austin after being defunct for nearly 200 years!), and we believe in the importance of offering a positive vision of the changes we want to see in our government. So come join us to learn about current weaknesses, oversights, and issues with the current Constitution, and to offer and exchange ideas about how to fix them. No previous study or experience in Constitutional Law required!

Snacks will be provided, and there will be an ACS Social taking place after the event!
