2020 NYU Mediation Organization Application Deadline

The NYU Mediation Organization (NMO) is now accepting applications for its 2020 Spring Mediation team! The application can be found here. Applications are due at 5:00pm on Friday, January 17, 2020.

As part of the NMO team, each mediator will complete 24 hours of training to develop dispute resolution techniques. Once trained, NMO team members will mediate real disputes, alongside coaches, within the New York State court system. The teams encounter a variety of cases that include landlord-tenant disputes, auto accidents, work contracts, and unpaid bills. As an NMO mediator, you will be asked to mediate at least twice during the Spring semester. Mediations typically occur on weekday evenings. You are welcome to mediate more times!

The mandatory trainings will be on Saturday 1/25, Sunday 1/26, and Sunday 2/2 in Furman Hall from 9am-5pm on all 3 days. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL OF THE TRAININGS
