Reunion Legacy Match Challenge

Your legacy starts now.

Complete the Legacy Match form and make a gift that will endure for generations.

Legacy gifts may be made in the form of estate bequests, life insurance or retirement account designations, or charitable trusts. Documenting a legacy gift at NYU Law does not represent a legal or binding commitment. You can inform NYU School of Law at any time of any changes to your estate plan that impact the amount, type, or designation of your legacy gift. For more information about planned gifts, please visit our gift planning website.

Now, your commitment goes further.

Thanks to the generosity of your Reunion class leadership, your planned gift will unlock an immediate $10,000 annual fund contribution in your name—supporting students and programs today while investing in NYU Law tomorrow

In recognition of your generosity, you will be welcomed into:

“I decided to honor my mother, Kay Hashimoto, who dreamed of attending law school to become a public interest attorney, by creating a scholarship through a legacy gift.”

Additional Information

  • To qualify for the challenge: gifts must be disclosed and documented, and include a dollar amount or estimated percentage value.
  • To make a new estate gift or bequest: NYU Law has partnered with FreeWill, a free online platform that educates and guides you through the process of making or updating your will.
  • If you would like to disclose or update an existing estate gift intention: download, complete, and return a Bequest Intention Form, or securely report your bequest gift online
  • Have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? These are non-probate assets, and you must plan your beneficiaries for them outside of your will.  If you would like to designate NYU Law as a beneficiary, you can use this secure online tool to make your plans.
  • If you choose to establish a new scholarship, fellowship, or professorship through a bequest gift, an NYU Law representative will follow up with you to sign and complete a gift agreement to document your commitment.

All donors participating in the NYU Law Reunion Legacy Match Challenge will automatically become members of The Conley Society to recognize their generosity in supporting NYU Law’s future.
