Anthony Thomas, Founder, NYU Law Venture Fund
Anthony is the VP Business Development & Partnerships at The Suite. He honed his skills as a people connector over 16 years in higher education fundraising, driving millions of dollars in giving through strategic partnerships. He also created and launched the NYU Law Venture Fund (now known as the NYU Law Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Program), one of the only seed-stage funding programs at a U.S. law school.
Anthony is a relationship-builder who works tirelessly to ensure the success of our strategic partners. His team strives to bring together the most impactful experts, advisors and vendors so that they can build and nurture relationships with our executives.
In his spare time, you can find Anthony exploring the newest restaurant in NYC, visiting a new city, exploring more of Italy or surfing in the Rockaways.

Dear EVC community:
I am delighted to share that Anthony Thomas, vice president of business development and partnerships at The Suite, will join the EVC Program advisory board this fall.
As a former member of the Law School’s Development and Alumni Relations team, Anthony helped create and launch what was then known as the Venture Fund back in 2018. I can think of no better way to honor Anthony’s years of dedicated service to our Law School, and to his initial vision for the Venture Fund, than by inviting him to join its governing body.
Anthony’s expertise lies in forming strategic partnerships, a skillset he honed while leading the Law School’s major giving program. With his nearly two decades of experience as a connector and relationship builder, he has helped drive millions of dollars in charitable giving, helping ensure these partnerships enjoy mutual success. I am grateful he is bringing his talents back to NYU Law to continue shaping the ambitious program he was instrumental in founding: one of the only seed-stage funding programs available at a U.S. law school.
I look forward to seeing how he helps further strengthen this signature initiative, along with the incredible innovations the EVC Program will foster with his guidance.
