The clinic was an extremely useful, insightful, and rewarding learning experience for me. I thoroughly enjoyed getting the practical experience of communicating with clients, drafting contracts, and working collaboratively with other members of the clinic. Both clinic instructors were thoughtful and engaging mentors who were dedicated to the growth and progression of their students. Post-clinic, I feel more confident and prepared to tackle transactional practice.

What first inspired you to pursue a career in law?

During high school, my favorite extracurricular activity was speech and debate. I loved practicing advocacy and persuasive argumentation while thinking critically about how to solve complex issues in a variety of domains. In college I discovered my love for persuasive writing, critical thinking, philosophy, finance, and public policy. All of that led me to that the legal profession would be a great fit for my career.

Favorite place to relax in New York City?

Yankee Stadium. I grew up loving baseball. I know some in my generation think it's a boring sport, but I thoroughly enjoy going to games throughout the summer where I can sit and chat with friends, eat, and be entertained all at the same time. There is something about watching baseball that brings me peace and provides a nice distraction from the stresses of everyday life. To me, Yankee Stadium symbolizes New York pride and the city's rich history. When I'm at a game, I try to take it all in. Of course, it's always better when the Yankees are winning.

What do you enjoy most about being in New York City?

The social scene. I have friends from all different walks of life in one place. I really enjoy experiencing the nightlife, concerts, sporting events and other forms of entertainment with them.

Aside from necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?

Diet Coke and listening to music.
