In 1993, the NYU Annual Survey of American Law dedicated its 50th Volume to noted Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. Speaking at the dedication in Stevens's honor were, among others, Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, former Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, and New York University Stokes Professor of Law Norman Dorsen.
