NYU@NUS Scholarships

Singapura Scholars Program
The Singapura Scholarship is our most prestigious award for students pursuing the dual-degree program in Singapore. Modeled after the Hauser Global Scholarship in New York, only a limited number of the most meritorious admitted students are offered a Singapura Scholarship, which encompasses tuition and reasonable living expenses for both the NYU and the NUS LL.M. degrees. Singapura Scholars who choose to study at NUS beyond February may be granted additional funds.

All applicants to the dual-degree program are eligible to apply to the Singapura Scholarship regardless the location of prior legal study. In addition to completing the application for admission to the full-time LL.M. program (including a personal statement), candidates must electronically attach to their online application an essay of 500 to 750 words that briefly describes a current legal dilemma, controversy, or issue facing a country, a region, or the world, and suggests a strategy to address the problem.

David Marshall Scholarships
The full-tuition David Marshall Scholarship is awarded to a limited number of full-time students who will enroll in NYU@NUS. The Marshall Scholarship covers the cost of tuition for both master’s degrees that comprise this dual-degree program. Scholars who choose to study at NUS beyond February may be granted additional funding.

NYU@NUS Deans’ Awards
The Committee offers merit-based awards in varying amounts to students who have demonstrated significant academic promise and/or achievement in their respective fields.
