Applicants may apply for the AnBryce Scholarship by signing the appropriate statement on the J.D. application. Applicants should submit a one-page essay (500-750 words) with the J.D. application that discusses the circumstances surrounding the challenges they have encountered in their lives that qualify them to be a recipient of this scholarship. Applicants should be sure to address how they have embodied the attributes of an AnBryce Scholar in overcoming personal obstacles, and how their legal education will enable them to promote the ideals underlying the program in their career.
Selected students are expected to be available for an interview on or about Wednesday, April 3, 2013 or Thursday, April 4, 2013. Interviewees will also be invited to visit the Law School the day after the interview. Scholarship offers will be made during the week following the interviews and awardees will be expected to respond within three business days to the offer.
