Deadline and Application Requirements
Applicants should submit an NYU School of Law application for admission and the AnBryce Scholarship essay no later than January 1 of the year they will enroll in law school. Applicants are considered for the scholarship only after being offered admission. Admitted students who wish to be considered for the scholarship should also complete the NYU Law financial aid application. Finalists selected for interviews will be notified approximately one month prior to the interviews.
In the past, interviews have been held in Washington DC, Purchase, NY, and Oakland, CA. NYU School of Law will make arrangements for finalists for transportation to and lodging in the finalist’s interview city. Expenses related to transportation and lodging will be covered by the AnBryce Scholarship Program. A member of the NYU School of Law administration and a current AnBryce Scholar will meet finalists in their interview city and the night prior to the interview, a current NYU School of Law AnBryce Scholar (and possibly AnBryce alumni) will host dinner for all finalists.
A member of the NYU Law administration and a current AnBryce Scholar will escort finalists to the interview site the day of the interviews. Interviews will last approximately 25 minutes and interview panelists will consist of NYU School of Law faculty, alumni and friends of the AnBryce Scholarship Program. Scholarship offers will be made early in the week following the interviews. Recipients of scholarship will be required to respond to the offer within three business days.
Following the interviews, finalists are invited to travel to the NYU School of Law campus to attend an Admitted Students Day later that week. A member of the NYU School of Law administration and a current AnBryce Scholar will escort finalists from the interview city to New York. In addition to participating in the Law School’s Admitted Students Day activities, while in New York, finalists will be invited to dinners with current NYU Law AnBryce Scholars and have the opportunity to meet with the Executive Director of the AnBryce Foundation, the Dean of NYU School of Law, and the Faculty Director of the AnBryce Scholarship Program.
