Welcome to the International Student Interview Program (ISIP).

ISIP is the oldest and largest LLM recruiting program in the United States, sponsored by 30+ law schools nationwide and hosted by NYU School of Law to facilitate the interviewing of foreign-trained lawyers enrolled in LLM programs at each school.

Virtual ISIP interviews will be held on

Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26

2024

Global Employer Base:

For more than 35 years, ISIP has attracted leading legal employers – law firms, corporations, and multilateral institutions, with more than 150 employers participating regularly. For a full list of participating employers from past years please refer to this document.

Employers have the opportunity to set individual hiring criteria and review resumes from highly qualified candidates who meet their qualifications through one streamlined virtual interview process.

Global Applicant Pool:

All LLM students who received their first law degree outside of the United States and who are currently enrolled in one of the 30+ ISIP consortium schools may participate program. More than 1800 students with law degrees from more than 70 countries are eligible to apply for interviews through ISIP each year. Students must be enrolled in one of our consortium schools. We do not have capacity to include students from any other programs.

The program is also open to foreign-trained JSD students in ISIP consortium schools, who can participate once during their academic program, generally in their final year. ISIP is not open to students enrolled in a US JD program or LLM students who hold a US JD.
