January
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form for next year is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, or at any college, library or directly from the government.
February
Admitted Students may begin submission of the Need Access Financial Aid Application (mid-February).
Graduating law students can begin submitting Bar Review Loan applications.
March
Award Notification begins in mid-March.
April 1
FAFSA and institutional financial aid application priority filing deadline for incoming JD students.
May (generally by the 1st Friday of the month)
Entering Students must submit Acceptance deposit.
July 31
Loan applications for upcoming academic year should submitted to and lender approved by this date. Applications completed after this date may result in a delay of loan disbursements.
August
Loans are disbursed for students who applied by July 31.
Returning Students should submit a completed Statement of Summer Earnings form with a copy of your final wage statement (paycheck stub) no later than August 31.
Note: Please submit your student loan in-school deferment forms to the Office of Records and Registration, Furman Hall, 4th Floor.
October
Awards are finalized for all students.
