Law Alumni Association

Message from the President

You’ve entered the virtual home of the Law Alumni Association.  On behalf of the entire Law Alumni Association – welcome!

These are extraordinary, if not historic times at the Law School.  Under the keen intelligence and visionary leadership of Dean Richard Revesz, the Law School continues its ascent as a preeminent, global institution. Our corridors are graced with some of the greatest legal minds in the world. Our professors and students comprise an inclusive and dynamic international community representing countries across the globe and confronting provocative issues that affect the world’s citizenry.

It is on this platform that the Law Alumni Association helps develop relevant programming using the cutting edge of legal scholarship. Whether the topic is immigration legislation or judicial elections, our Fall Lecture Series is always a vigorous exchange that challenges both panelists and attendees to examine controversial legal issues.  The Annual Awards Luncheon is a phenomenal opportunity to honor the diverse achievements of our alumni ranging from venerable supporters of the Law School like Herbert Wachtell ’54 and Martin Lipton ’56 whose litigation and transactional accomplishments are legendary, to recent graduates like Vanita Gupta ’01, whose passion for justice helped win the release of 46 wrongly accused African-Americans.  Equally compelling is the Annual Alumni Luncheon. Each year, distinguished guests, such as Chief Judge Judith Kaye ’62 and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly (LL.M. ’74), deliver an invigorating keynote address to an audience brimming with Law Alumni luminaries.

These are just a few highlights. Click here for a full array of the Association’s exciting programming.  Better yet, put down the mouse, step away from the screen and join us.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

Katherine Frink-Hamlett, ’91
President, Law Alumni Association
