If you are a 2L or 3L student who has excelled in a particular substantive area (i.e. received an A or A- in the course) and has a knack for teaching, we urge you to apply to tutor to a fellow student by completing the form below.  If you agree to act as a tutor, you will be added to our tutor registry. When a student asks for assistance in a particular class, we will then match them with an appropriate tutor. Signing up for our tutor registry does not guarantee that we will be able to pair you with a student to tutor, but we will add your name to our registry and contact you as demand requires.

When a student requests assistance in a particular course, we will match the student with an appropriate tutor. Tutors are paid by the Office of Student Affairs and are compensated at the rate of $13.50 per hour. Typically tutors provide 2-3 hours of tutoring per week.

Please note: Students may NOT tutor in courses in which they are currently serving as teaching assistants.

To apply to become a tutor please fill out this survey. You will be able to indicate the classes in which you wish to provide tutoring, in addition to providing us with comments and/or suggestions. If you wish to apply for a tutor, please visit this page.
