Columbia Law School/NYU School of Law Exchange
In 2009-2010, Columbia Law and NYU School of Law will allow a limited number of students to take courses at each other's schools. Approximately thirty students from each school will be eligible for this opportunity this academic year. Students are permitted to take one course at the other school during their academic career.
Both Columbia Law and NYU School of Law students must use the online request form to apply.
Each semester, there will be a preliminary deadline to submit a request. Requests received by that date will be considered first, with J.D. 3L and LL.M. students having priority, then 2L students will be considered. Please note that this program is only open to the following NYU students: J.D. 2Ls/3Ls and Full-time LL.M.s. The law school's policy does not permit J.D. Visiting students, NYU Exchange students or Part-time LL.M.s to participate in this program.
Once available for Fall 2009, please review the list of available courses at Columbia Law School or NYU Law School as well as the course descriptions and schedules, before completing your request. The course listings for both schools will be available in August.
